Absolutely. The booking widget embeds directly into your current site — no redesign, no migration, no new hosting. On WordPress, Shopify and custom sites it drops in as a single script tag. Wix, Squarespace and GoDaddy block third-party JavaScript, so those use our hosted iframe embed instead — it works on any Wix plan, and on Squarespace and GoDaddy you will need the plan tier that allows code embeds.

You do. Your customer data belongs to your restaurant, not to us. You can take a complete export of your bookings and customer records yourself, whenever you want one, or have all of your data deleted. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

Monthly rolling, with no minimum term and no notice period. Pay monthly and cancel whenever you like — it takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Your data remains accessible for export after cancellation.

Seatly branding is optional and entirely your choice. A single toggle in your admin Settings controls whether a small "Powered by Seatly" line appears on your booking widget AND in confirmation, reminder, and cancellation emails. It is OFF by default on every tier, including Starter — nothing carries Seatly branding unless you switch it on. When you do, you receive a tier-matched discount on your subscription (£5/month on Starter, £10/month on Professional, £15/month on Business). You can turn it on at any time; switching it back off ends the discount at your next invoice and locks the toggle for 30 days, so the discount cannot be claimed and immediately reversed.

Existing bookings remain valid until their dates pass. You can take a complete export of your bookings and customer records yourself, in one click, and the Terms give you 30 days after termination to do it.

Yes. Bookings and customer records are stored in London (EU West 2), encrypted in transit and at rest, and processed in accordance with UK GDPR. A few services we rely on to deliver email, text messages and card payments process limited data outside the UK under approved safeguards — all of them are named in our published sub-processor list. Our Data Processing Agreement is published in full, not held back for request.

Yes — Business tier includes our multi-location console covering up to 3 sites for £129/month, with a shared pool of 1,200 text reminders. Add more sites at £49/month each (each adds 400 texts to the pool). Switch the 'Powered by Seatly' line on for any site to save £15/month per branded site, no limit.

Nothing stops. Reminders and walk-in notifications keep sending — we are not going to cut your texts off mid-service. Anything above your allowance is billed at £0.07 per message segment on your next invoice, as its own line, and you can see your usage at any time in the billing screen. Allowances are counted in message segments: a reminder up to 160 characters is one segment, a longer one counts as two. They reset on the 1st of each month and unused segments do not roll over. Walk-in texts draw on the same allowance; replies from your customers, including opt-outs, are free.

Professional is built for restaurants with regulars and walk-ins: customer profiles with notes and dietary preferences, walk-in queue with text-when-ready, and internal booking notes for staff. Business adds operational tools for larger or more complex venues: a visual floor plan manager with auto-assignment and walk-in placement, group and private-dining bookings with their own rules, ticketed events with shareable booking links, and the multi-location console. If you have one room and a table-list service, Professional is enough. If you have multiple sections, busy walk-in flow, or private rooms, Business pays itself back.
